Snow in the Scottish Borders

Originally uploaded by pencefn

Last week I went away for a few days. The trip south featured heavy (for SW Scotland) snow. This picture presents the view of the southbound M74 during the mid morning.

The following week most of the snow had gone, but there was still snow on the central reservation and on the verges.

A bit of technical info. The camera was mounted on a clamp mount inside the car and rigged for remote release.
