…. an engineer, singer and photographer living in Scotland

Hillhead Baptist Church, Glasgow

Was browsing the internet this evening and came across the site for Hillhead Baptist Church. Located in the west end of Glasgow not far from St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, the church I have regularly worshipped at for the past 25 years.

The Rev Catriona Gorton was inducted as the minister at the beginning of October 2009. Catriona has had a varied career. I cannot remember the date (must have been around ten years ago), however the last time I met Catriona, it was at her leaving do as she was about to start her training for the ministry.

You can hear her at Hillhead on their audio blog. The service for 24 January 2010 when you can hear Catriona talking about Simon the Leper.

Hillhead Baptist Church is about to go through a major development programme, and I will be watching their progress with interest over the next few years.

  1. I met Catriona on Sunday night she came along and preached at the Bearsden Christian Unity service. Guess what we talked about you!
