This has a been a week for Episcopal Appiontments within the Anglican Communion.

More from the Scottish Episcopal Church website. Kevin succeeds Martin Shaw who retired in Autumn 2009.
On the same day, it was announced by 10 Downing Street that Christopher Chessun is to become the Tenth Bishop of Southwark. Christopher is currently the Area Bishop of Woolwich having been consecrated in Southwark Cathedral in April 2005, and succeeds Tom Butler who retired early in 2010.
As for the picture, although I can see the Cathedral of The Isles from my office window, I do not have a photograph of it, however here is a picture of the Bishop’s Throne at Southwark Cathedral I took this morning.
