What’s the Hurry?

A bit of people watching this evening.

I joined the queue for a train at around 18:15. At 18:20, twenty minutes before departure, with a queue of no more than 20 people, boarding commenced. Two passengers ran – well sprinted – to Coach E as if their life depended on it. This train has nearly 300 standard class seats and 145 first class seats.

There are only 3 people in my carriage and I guess there are no more than 50 people on the train as it departed.

So what was the hurry?
