Attende Domine (Lent Prose)
One of three windows at the west end of St Mary’s Cathedral in Glasgow. In the south aisle, the window depicts the Sacrament of Holy Communion, and was given by J H Collins.
- Left light: Melchizedek and Abraham with soldiers (Inscription “MELCHIZEDEK KING OF SALEM BROUGHT FORTH BREAD AND WINE”)
- Centre light: Lamb reposing on a red cross above Jesus and the two disciples at Emmaus (Inscription: HE WAS KNOWN OF THEM IN BREAKING OF BREAD”)
- Right hand light: Feeding of the Five Thousand (Inscription: “I AM THE LIVING BREAD WHICH CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN”)
