Lent 5 (Passion Sunday) – Growing Up: The Process of Change

The fifth and final on my thoughts from following Christ and the Chocolaterie which in turn uses the film Chocolat as its theme.

This week is about Growing Up and understanding the Process of Change.

The village of Lasquenet went through a change. This started from Vianne leasing a shop from Armande Voisin. They developed a friendship. Vianne provide sanctuary and a job for Josephine.

Throughout the Lenten period, the Comte de Reynaud struggled with his norms being challenged, however even he saw that there was good in places that he previously did not think existed. He accepted the River Rats

As the film comes to an end the villages and the River Rats celebrated together. Even Vianne experienced change, she did not move on and settled in the village with her daughter.

Think about yourself. Do not be afraid of change, it will help you enrich your life.
