Our final full day in Canada was in Bruce County. After Breakfast, we went for a walk around Port Elgin. There are buildings dating from the late 19th Century
On the end of one Port Elgin is a mural showing the history of the town.
Following the walk we took the car to head down Highway 21, stopping off at the Bruce Power visitor centre, before continuing onto Kincardine for lunch. After lunch we headed inland on Highway 9 through Greenock towards Walkerton. A few kilometres west of Walkerton, we headed north towards Paisley and then towards the lake shore at Southampton.
We headed to the Southampton flag, getting views of Chantry Island.
Nearby was a garden were we saw butterflies, reminding us of our visit to the Butterfly Conservatory a week earlier.
For our final evening in Canada, what better sight that a Lake Huron sunset at Port Elgin.
And so, we joined a friend for an evening meal and our final full in Ontario came to an end.
